2028 and beyond ….
By way of encouraging churches to prepare for the future, the Presbytery of Perth requires all congregations to develop a Five-Year Action Plan. These are to be submitted by March 2026.
For ourselves in The Isla Parishes this takes us beyond July 2028 when we are due to move from being a Parish Church to becoming a Local Mission Church based in Kilry Kirk.
The Kirk Session is very keen to work with the congregation and the community to develop a vision of what we all want Kilry Local Mission Church to look like in 2030.
To encourage this conversation, there will be a Soup and Sandwich lunch after church on Sunday 30th November 2025. Everyone is very warmly encouraged to attend and to contribute to the discussion.
