Creator God
The all-powerful One
The one in whom
We live
And move
And have our being
We praise you
And worship your Holy Name.
As we ponder your glory
Reflect on your awesome wonder
And meditate on your majestic magnificence
We are reminded of our frailty and brokenness
Within ourselves we have no hope of salvation
No escape from our constant failures and shortcomings
And yet, Heavenly Father,
You created us for your glory
You made us in your image
Designed for us to display your splendour.
Come, today Lord,
Restore within me some of that image
That I might reflect something of you
In all that I do and say and think this day
In Jesus’ name.
