Abundant God
As we prepare to celebrate
The most astonishing Gift ever given
We remember that this is all about Love.
We say the words,
“For God so loved the world”
May we hear them again this Christmas.
As we meditate on the result of such Love
May we understand more fully the depth of your love.
Love that brought you deep pain
Love that we ignored and threw back at you
As we broke your commands
And rebelled against your will
Your Love persisted
Because your Love is perfect
And in your Love you gave us the Gift of Jesus
And you give us the gift of the Holy Spirit
And you continue to pour out
Love and Grace and Mercy …
Abundant Father
Thank you for your Love
Thank you for Jesus, our Saviour
Than you for the Holy Spirit.
