Almighty Eternal God
Before whom the generations rise and fall away
Stand with us at the start of this New Year.
As we look into the unknown
Remind us Lord that you see into the days ahead
With perfect clarity and complete understanding.
In you there is no fear or trembling
For you there are no nasty surprises
With you there is no uncertainty or worry.
And so, with you by our side
We step boldly into 2021
Keeping our eyes on Jesus
Seeking the things of the Kingdom of God
Knowing that you have promised to
Love and to care and to provide.
Go with us Lord
Bless us that we might bless others
We give the coming year into the safety of your hands.
