Almighty God
King of all eternity
Lord of all time
The magnificence of your glory
Reminds us of the insignificance
Of humanity.
And yet,
The Omniscient, Omnipresent and Omnipotent One
Has drawn even us into your plans and purposes
Given us a leading role in the script
Written us into the plot
Invited us central stage
Inspired us with words to speak
Empowered us with a part to play
And released us with freedom … freedom of choice …
Lord, help me today
To use my freedom well
Using it to further your purposes
Yours before my own
For your glory, Lord
