Lord Jesus Christ
Who called out to your disciples
“Follow me!”
Thank you that your invitation
Sounds out down the centuries
So that we too can make that choice
We too can follow the Lord of Life.
I choose today
Lord Jesus
To identify myself as a ‘Follower of Jesus’
Seeking to make you the focus of my life
The one in whom I put my trust
The Saviour of my Soul.
Forgive me Lord
When I wander from the pathway
Distracted and confused by the things of the world
By the worries and demands and temptations.
Forgive me, and draw me back into your presence
Lead me Lord Jesus
And help me to follow well.
