Almighty God
Heavenly Father
Help me to be part of the solution
Rather than part of the problem.
To contribute to the unity of your people
Not waiting for others to go first
Not blaming my fellow believers
Removing the log from my own eye
Before criticising others for the skelf in theirs.
Lord, I pray for the unity of the church
Save us from the splintering of the people of God
From our inability to live and to work together.
Raise our vision, Father
Show us what a difference it would make
A difference to the church
A difference to the world
A difference to you, our Lord
A difference to the powers of darkness.
Change us Lord,
Fill us with your love
That we might love each other
In new and destiny changing ways
For your glory, Lord
For your glory!..
