Lord Jesus
Who walked upon this earth
Who understands the human character
With all our fragility and misplaced desires
I praise you for your promises of peace and contentment
Which I need so much day by day.
Lord, send your Holy Spirit to calm my restless soul.
In the midst of all the distractions of this world
Help me to find my rest in you
My Saviour and my Lord
